Bob Putnam Confirmed

We are thrilled to announce that Bob Putnam will join us on Thursday morning to discuss his current research and new book on issues around class and inequality, dubbed “The Opportunity Gap”.  Known for his work on social capital through his books “Bowling Alone” and “Better Together”, Mr. Putnam will share his insights on the growing youth class gap in America.

Back by popular demand, the agenda provides for two opportunities for Deep Dive Case Studies and another round of “Big Ideas”! Please let us know if you have something you’d like to share by completing the linked Request for Proposals and returning to Amy Daly-Donovan (amy@dalydonovan.com) by January 16th.

RFP for Deep Dive Case Studies

– Two sessions:  Wednesday afternoon (open topics) and Friday morning (focus on revenue diversification)

RFP for Big Ideas Sessions

– Like “TED Talks”, these are 10-12 minute presentations sharing a big concept or idea, with 5-10 minutes for reaction from the group

Registration for 2015 Now Open

We are ready and raring to go, and looking forward to a spectacular conference in La Jolla, CA on February 25-27th!  The agenda is just about finalized … stay tuned and check in regularly for updates.

Please use the REGISTER NOW button to reserve your spot and hotel accommodations for the conference.  Please do not make your own hotel reservation … our discounted rate is based on the number of rooms we book so we need to use our contracted room block.  If you have special needs or requests you can note them in the online registration and Sherrie will take care of everything for you.

Deadline for registration is January 9th.   After the first of the year, we will also ask you to submit  information for inclusion in the conference notebook:  an updated bio, your foundation’s financial and organizational summary report, and your Foundation Highlights.

Contact Amy Daly-Donovan (amy@dalydonovan.com) with any questions.  See you in February!
